What This Assessment Measures
Your responses are scored against military-validated trait research to recommend the best Mil Occupational Specialties (MOS) for you.

TAPAS-style traits

Discipline, resilience, teamwork, leadership, risk tolerance, and adaptability — the traits the military uses to predict job fit.

Big Five personality

Conscientiousness, openness, extraversion, agreeableness, and emotional stability.

Vocational interests

Hands-on, analytical, helping, leadership, creative, and structured work preferences (Holland RIASEC).

Situational judgment

Realistic Mil scenarios that reveal how you actually act under pressure — not just what you say.

Before you begin

  • 105 questions — agree/disagree, frequency anchors ("how often..."), time anchors ("how long..."), forced-choice trade-offs, and short scenarios.
  • Takes about 10–15 minutes to complete.
  • Answer honestly, not strategically — there are no right or wrong answers, and a few items are designed to detect overly polished responses.
  • For forced-choice items, both options sound desirable on purpose. Pick the one that's more like you, even if neither is a perfect fit.
  • For "in the last X months" items, give your best honest estimate.
  • You can go back and change earlier answers at any time.

Methodology: This assessment combines Big Five personality research, the U.S. Army's TAPAS (Tailored Adaptive Personality Assessment System) trait framework, Holland RIASEC vocational interest codes, and military-style situational judgment items. It is an exploration tool — not an official Mil aptitude test.
