As the officer on the space operations floor, your day begins with a shift brief covering satellite health, space lift schedules, and any warning-mission activity. You lead a crew flying space assets, make the calls when anomalies or maneuvers arise, and coordinate with mission partners while keeping commanders informed. Between directing operations, you mentor your enlisted operators and sign off on the decisions that keep the mission running.
